Parity Wellness is committed to clear, transparent billing and payment practices. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and credits are handled for self-pay services, online classes, and other charges paid directly to Parity Wellness.

1. Insurance Claims

If services are billed to insurance, refunds are not issued until claims have been processed and payment responsibility has been determined. Any refund related to an overpayment will be reviewed after insurance adjudication is complete.

​

2. Self-Pay Services

Payments made for completed services are generally non-refundable. If an overpayment is identified, Parity Wellness will review the account and issue a refund or account credit when appropriate.

​

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

​

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, assessment, or online class, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance: no cancellation fee

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice: may be subject to a cancellation fee

  • Missed appointments or no-shows: may be subject to a no-show fee

Parity Wellness may choose to waive fees in certain circumstances.

4. Online Classes and Virtual Services

​

If you register and pay directly for an online class or virtual service:

  • You may request a refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the fee may be non-refundable

  • If you miss a scheduled online class or virtual service without notice, the fee may be non-refundable

  • If Parity Wellness cancels the class or is unable to provide the service, you will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule

5. Administrative or Processing Fees

Administrative, registration, or processing fees, if any, may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of payment.

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original form of payment. If that is not possible, Parity Wellness may issue a refund by another reasonable method.

​

7. Timing of Refunds

Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days, although bank or card processing times may vary.
